Happy Holidays at Hassalo
Every year, Hassalo on Eighth shows it’s Holiday spirit to ensure our residents feel cozy and enchanted in their urban home. To create this feel, we adorn each of our building’s lobby with a Tree themed according to each space. Aster Tower has a regal, tall, and grand presence, while Velomor sticks to it’s mid-century, playful aesthetic. Hassalo’s street lights are covered in fresh garland and twinkle lights, and wreaths are hung throughout the internal and external property. We take this time of year seriously. Beyond Hassalo’s festive cheer, the Lloyd neighborhood is dedicated to hosting community events this time of year, to bring folks together for some Holiday spirit.

Immersive Experiences
Lloyd has some great walk-through events happening in these last few weeks of 2024. A Walk through Winter Wonderland is an illustration focused collective exhibition at Lloyd Center, exploring themes of the Season, celebrating cultural differences in how we honor traditions, and offering lots of opportunities for some gift shopping as you enjoy the self-guided tour. The Oregon Convention Center is hosting Festival of the Trees, showcasing elegant natural displays. No Community is complete this time of year without Santa, and he will be at Lloyd Center for photos December 14-15.
Living at Hassalo is never boring, and the community is dedicated to establishing festive events, decor and cheer through this Holiday Season. When you’ve browsed the Markets and posed with Santa, you can come home to a sparkling tree to greet you before hitting the elevators. One thing is for certain: if you do not enjoy the mood and ambiance of December, Hassalo is probably not right for you.
